Ferrari è il nome dell'uomo e della marca più famosi in campo automobilistico mondiale, una marca che si avvia verso i quarant'anni di vita.
La rivista Motor Italia si è occupata di questa marca sin dal suo esordio, con la presentazione del programma produttivo e del primo modello, il "125 sport", cui hanno fatto seguito numerosi articoli tra cui la serie pubblicata sui nemeri dal 114 al 122 (inverno 1979 - inverno 1981) che costituisce una storia condensata della Casa.
Tuttavua si 'e deciso di fare più e meglio, per venire incontro ai desieri degli ammiratori ella Ferrari, che sono numerosissimi.
Ha così inizio una serie di numeri speciali di Motor Italia dedicati esclusivamente alla Ferrari, e recanti come titolo "Ferrari Story": l'uso della parola inglese identifica (come già in passoto) articoli e servizi con testo in italiano ed in inglese allo scopo di renderli accessibili ad un più vasto pubblico internatzionale. Enzo Ferrari, e le sue macchine, che hanno estimatori in tutto il mondo, meritano questo omaggio.

Ferrari is the name of the man and the marque that has achieved the biggest fame in the automobile world, and the marque is approaching its 40 years of activity.
Motor Italia magazine has followed this marque from its beginnings, presenting the production programme and the first model, the "125 sport" and following with a number of articles, specially the serial published from issue 114 to 122 (winter 1979 to winter 1981) that is in effect a condensed history of the Company.
It was decided however to do more and better to fulfill the wishes of Ferrari admirers that are legions.
With this issue begins a serial of Motor Italia sepecials, dedicated exclusively to the Ferrari and indicated by the title "Ferrari Story": the English term suggests (as in the past) that the text is in English as well as in Italian, with the intent of making it accessible to a larger International readership.
Enzo Ferrari and his cars, admired in the whole world deserve this homage.

Started life as a supplement to Motor Italia in 1984, Ferrari Story developed to a standalone and mature annual magazine in 1995 until it's demise in 2009.
