Ferrari è sinosimo di 12 cilindri perché questo tipo di motore è stato il primo e continua tuttora ad equipaggiare i modelli più grandi della Casa.
Tuttavia nel corso della evoluzione tecnica che dura ormai da quasi quarant'anni è stata ravvisata l'utilità di esplorare molte altre soluzioni, tra cui quella ad otto cilindri a V di 90°.
In questo capitolo di Ferrari Story viene descritto il gruppo di modelli con motori V 8 senza compressore, che è stato rinnovato in occasione del Salone di Francoforte 1985.
E si comincia anche ad inserire qualche notizia relativa al grande mondo del "ferraristi": in questo caso si tratta della visita degli appassionati tedeschi che hanno portato le loro Ferrari a Siena ed a Maranello.

Ferrari means 12 cylinders because this engine type has been the first and still continues to power the bigger models of the marque.
The technical development that goes on since nearly forty years, has shown the usefulness of exporing many other possibilities, including the eight cylinders engine in Vee form at 90°.
In this chapter of Ferrari Story are described the models equipped with the unsupercharged V 8 engine, that have been renovated for the occasion of the Frankfurt Motor Show of 1985.
Also, for the first time, some news are added concerning the great universe of the "ferraristi": in this case is the visit of the German customers who brought their cars to Siena and Maranello.

Started life as a supplement to Motor Italia in 1984, Ferrari Story developed to a standalone and mature annual magazine in 1995 until it's demise in 2009.
