4 Notizie Ferrari looks to it's great history as it prepares for a no less glorious future
F133 Ferrari GT SWB is spied. Fear not, Ferrari never sleeps

Alessandro Stefanini, Klaus & Phil Ruest

This prototype Ferrari has been seen around the Factory lately, and we are told that it is the new "SWB" due out in 1997. Keen-eyed observers have noted two prototypes in the last year.
The first was a 456 GT chassis shortened by about twenty centimeters, while the second is the definitive SWB chassis. The internal code names is F133, and yes, it will be a front engined, V-12, two seat GT car, destined to replace not only the F512 M, but also the entire flat-12 rear engined model line!

This was once again the highlight of the historic season in Europe, with many special Ferraris attending. There were several Ferrari 250 GTOs, 250 TRs and 500 TRCs and three Dino 246 Formula One Cars. Also of great interest was pop singer Chris Rea's specially built recreation of the 1961 sharknosed 156 Spyder Corsa.

The featured cars for this year's event were the prewar German classics and the Morgan sports car. The 1995 concours presented a record number of cars and a record number of guests. Since every car is considered an excellent representative in its class, only a few are selected for special recognition.

Once again the historic circuit in the dunes of Zandvoort hosted a special event regarding all kinds of things that have a relation with that emotional country in the south of Europe, Italy. All sorts of Italian cars could be seen in the paddock and naturally faster cars were entered in the races. Main attraction of the weekend was the Ferrari F355 / 348 Challenge of West Europe.

A heartfelt tribute to a towering figure of post war International Motorsports

Michael T. Lynch

Louis Klemantaski

Each generation has its heroes, and for anyone remotely interested in road racing from the late fifties and beyond, there was only one champion of champions, Juan Manuel Fangio. He entered 51 World Championship Grand Prix and won 48 of them, a percentage that will likely never be equaled. He set 22 fastest laps and qualified off the front row only three times.

What would you say if someone called you one lazy afternoon and told you that they knew of a special, early Ferrari racer that had been squirreled away some forty odd years ago. What if they also told you that it was a "one-of-a-kind, special bodied, open sports racer," the likes of which most of us dream about. What if they went on and on, and said that it was a "Factory works hot rod" and that it was the "prototype for one of Ferrari's hottest and most famous series of racers"!

Ferraris appear on Rodeo Drive to celebrate the introduction of the new Ferrari F355 Spider

Guy Mangiamele

After the successful launch of the Ferrari 348 Spider two years ago on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California, Ferrari decided to repeat history once again, this time for the newly announced Ferrari F355 Spider. And it was another unqualified success. The same fabled street, the same enthusiastic crowds, and most importantly, the same exotic grouping of vintage and classic Ferraris, all added to the fun and enjoyment of the day.

Ferrari SpA

Ferrari SpA has issued a wonderful set of technical drawings to introduce the Ferrari F50, and we thank Ferrari for allowing all of us an inside look at the Ferrari F50, and in such exquisite detail. We have a soft spot for these types of drawings, because not only do they provide a wealth of knowledge, they are, in their own way, quite beautiful.
