The Club gathers its best
The FCA does not quit. After the Oregon Region had to cancel te 2021 event, the Florida Region stepped in and took the reigns and produced a National Meet in less than 5 months. Their choice of setting was inspired, as what better place than the historic Sebring Raceway. The Concours was held on the iconic main straight, and owners could also drive the fabled track in fast and slow sessions.

Over 250+ of the rarest and most valuable race cars on the planet participated in Velocity Invitational, with 11 invited race groups spanning the history of motorsports form the Brass Era to the modern age competing on the famed Laguna Seca track. There were also historic exhibits featuring vehicles from notable museums and private collections, plus special vehicle demos and new car displays, finished off with local cuisine and wine testings.

The 2021 Finali Mondiali at the Mugello Circuit offered spectacle and thrills, with Luka Nurmi (Formula Racing) crowned World Champion in the Trofeo Pirelli and Ernst Kirchmayr (Baron Motorsport) in Coppa Shell. An enthusiastic crowd of Scuderia Ferrari Club members and Ferrari employees was present at Mugello to watch the races.

It was a very special evening for the FIA championships' winners who received their awards recently at an official ceremony in Paris. Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado, World Champions of the FIA World Endurance Championship in the LMGTE class, took the stage in the presence of FIA President Jean Todt, Antonello Coletta, Head of Ferrari Attività Sportive GT, collected Ferrari's Constructors' title prize.

As with many of us in the classic car world, the passion for high performance automobiles became instilled in Jean Guikas at an early age. Just barely a teenager, he saw a brand new dark blue plexi-nose Daytona on the streets of the South of France in 1970. Upon hearing the excitement and passion in his young son's voice after the first encounter with the car, the elder Mr. Guikas managed to track down the owner of the car and put it in their own garage only a few short months later.
