Thee well manicured Fountain Gardens of Hampton Court Palace once again hosted the Concours of Elegance, presented by A. Lange & Sohne, over the weekend of September 4 to 6.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and associate travel restrictions, a number of would-be foreign entrants were unable to participate. However, the organizers still managed to attract a broad ranging display of some sixty cars in the Concours, together with a large number of club and trade displays to add to the diversity of the show.

The 2020 edition of the Salon Privé Concours d'Elegance preseented by AXA was probably the largest and lengthiest motoring gathering in the United Kingdom since the introduction of the various, and constantly changing, social distancing regulations due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

One of Ferrari's most beautiful racers
It has been of continual interest how many enthusiasts are enamoured of these Ferrari one-off specials, the 312 P series, of which only three examples where made.
Author Gianni Agnese is obviously a fun and has devoted a sizeable portion of this new book to just this model, and its short but notable career.

The first feeling after your first hour in this airplane-automobile is freedom, absolute freedom!
There is really nothing to compare it to a cabriolet, due to the absence of the windshield, because you now have a 180 degrees free view.

There is not much to report in the Ferrari market at the moment. It has been suprisingly strong, although high-end prices have been trailing downward. This was to be expected in any protracted recession but when you in the confinement factor from the pandemic, your assumption is that no one will buy because there's not much you can do with your newly gotten Ferrari, except look at it in the garage.
