The Journal of Ferrari History

Cavallino is the journal of Ferrari history, covering Ferraris old and new for over 40 years. It's the most reliable, most trusted source of everything Ferrari. Ever since the first issue in 1978 Cavallino presents extensive stories and detailed information from knowledgeable experts and enthusiasts who share the passion for Ferrari. All Ferraris are unique, and each one has its own chassis serial number. This is how the Ferrari world keeps track of all the great cars. Cavallino is the only publication that prints the serial number for every Ferrari mentioned in our stories, articles, and race results.

There are so many events nowadays hosting Ferraris, as there should be, since these cars are the mechanical art for our age.
Cavallino would like to cover them all in detail but given the limits of time and space, this is, regrettably, not possible.
But the appearance of the important models is indeed worth noting for now and for the future. Our compliments to the owners.

FIA Formula One Championship

Keith Bluemel

Ferrari SpA

It is a season of drama, especially for Ferrari, with some very good races and several very dispiriting races, leaving one to wonder how van they carry on. But they are, and the net result is that Fernando Alonso is in the lead for the Drivers' Championship.

FIA World Endurance Championship

Keith Bluemel

Ferrari SpA

Still one of the greatest races of them all, and a true test of endurance. This year saw nine Ferrari GTs entered, the 458 GT2s, and only three did not finish, for a 66% finishing rate. And the finishes were laudatory - first, second and forth in one class, and third, sixth and seventh in the other. A more than respectable record for a car that is fast becoming a Ferrari GT legend.
