The Journal of Ferrari History
Cavallino is the journal of Ferrari history, covering Ferraris old and new for over 40 years. It's the most reliable, most trusted source of everything Ferrari. Ever since the first issue in 1978 Cavallino presents extensive stories and detailed information from knowledgeable experts and enthusiasts who share the passion for Ferrari. All Ferraris are unique, and each one has its own chassis serial number. This is how the Ferrari world keeps track of all the great cars. Cavallino is the only publication that prints the serial number for every Ferrari mentioned in our stories, articles, and race results.

Ferrari took this opportunity to introduce and announce the world premiere of the race prepared 599 GTB, called the 599XX, and a special HGTE package for the regular 599 GTB Fiorano. All of Ferrari's other models were on display, as well last year's Formula One model F2008. |

Prince Igor Nikolayevich Troubetzkoy was born on August 23, 1912 in Paris, a French-born scion of one of Russia's oldest aristocratic families. His life took a turn when he met Barbare Hutton, and he became her fourth husband in March of 1947 at Chur in Switzerland. |

This chassis was not stamped with the next serial number, 0556 MD, that it should have received in the normal manufacturing sequence. It was immediately stamped by Ferrari with the serial number 0446 MD, which had been used the previous year on a 735 Sport sold new to François Picard of Nice, France. |

Seielstad There are many iconic Ferrari models that were built in a small planet on the east edge of Modena in the 1950s and 1960s. One would look in vain for a badge of the body builder of the aforementioned Ferraris. The body builder of these models is Sergio Scaglietti. His company was names Scaglietti & C. Beginning in 1957, Enzo Ferrari turned to Scaglietti to build his small production run road cars. As these designs were credited to Pininfarina, Scaglietti did not attach his name to the bodies. |
