10 Lady Drivers
Helmets & High Heels

It may be true that behind every successful man there is a strong woman, but in racing, that woman may well be way out in front. Despite the genteel social pressures against women in racing, and despite the more obvious objections from male drivers against women in racing, many of these strong willed women endured and prevailed. A tribute to the post-war women drivers - in Ferraris, of course. I.e. Yvonne Simon, Bianca Maria Piazza, Josie von Neumann, Audrey Saffell, Anna Maria Peduzzi, Annie Soisbault, Denise McCluggage, Bonnie Henn, Lilian Bryner.

Ferrari 500 Superfast

The Life and Times of an Aristocrat. This being chassis s/n 6659 SF. The name borders on kitsch, but the object so named is anything but. Superfast was what this model was all about, plus being super-powerful, super-luxerious, super-expensive, and super-everything. As a further remembrance on the passing of Sergio Pininfarina, we present this final testimonial to the elegant extravagance that was the hand-built Pininfarina Ferrari.

2012 Colorado Grand

Italy may have the Mille Miglia but America has "The Grand." Less publicity, less crowds, less fanfare maybe, but that's all to the good - quietude prevails.

55 In Memoriam
Pierre Bardinon

The passing of Pierre Bardinon is more than the passing of a good man and an enthusiast. It brings to mind one of the first and greatest of Ferrari collections, never to be repeated.

59 The Twenty Years that I spent with Enzo Ferrari
A remembrance from an acolyte

Towards the end of 1968, the human resources department of the Ferrari factory began to search among their employees for a young trustworthy individual who was married, did not smoke or drink and who had no frills.

64 Alonso & Ferrari miss the mark by only three points
Formula 1

It was a long hard year, and Ferrari almost made it. After many setbacks, and after many comebacks, the team brought Fernando Alonso to within three points of the Drivers' Championship.

Bahama Speed Week Revival

It was a week of racing by day, parties by night, but not just any cars and not just any parties. The old Nassau Speed Week brought international cars and drivers for the week of racing, and the nights were formal affairs, some even at the Governer's mansion no less. It was high-style, and now it will be re-created.
