Ferrari 400 GT 2+2 automatic
An historic mechanical evolution in Ferrari production with the introduction of an automatic gearbox, leaving the manual gearbox as an option.
Small visual differences from the 365 GT4 which preceded it, such as the front spoiler and the five-bolt wheel fixings.
The first Ferrari with an automatic transmis-sion, later joined by a manual-shift version. In 1979 the 4.9-litre engine was fitted with electronic injection. Styling details also evolved.
