Ferrari 208 GTB Turbo
The 'Italian' version of the 8-cylinder Ferrari gained added power from the application of a turbocharger developed for racing. It was distinguished from the naturally-aspirated version by a few exterior details.
In the make of F1 experience, this is the first production turbocharged car, but only for the Italian market. The turbo lifts performance to that of the 308, without incurring the higher rate Italian IVA tax, which applies only to cars over 2,000 cc.
