Registrations at the now-traditional Friday night cocktail party in the Dearborn Inn's Greenfield Room gave solid evidence that the 1973 Annual Meet was going to be one of the most attended by both Ferraris and their owners.

Ferrari cognoscenti, until very recently had an inviolate peeking order in which the owner of a one-off, or an ex-racing car, was put a cut or two above the owner of a model which was "mass" produced, though in truth less than 10,000 Ferraris have been built 'in toto' since the first in 1949.

1973 in Review
